compiling scenes from multiple dvds onto one dvd?
    #5517424 - 04/14/06 10:21 PM (17 years, 9 months ago)

So I'm trying to compile a collection of my favorite fight scenes from different movies onto one dvd. Anyone have any idea how I would go about this?

I've done it, but it wasn't easy. I wrote my own software to rip a single mpeg stream from the DVD, but any DVD ripper should work. Once I had the various mpeg streams, I imported them into Final Cut Pro. From there, it was edit, and export to DVD Studio Pro to author the DVD. There are probably easier ways to do it.

I do it using clonedvd2, to take the chapters off the dvd, then use a program called dvixtodvd, to put the chapters into a dvd complient
movie, then clonedvd2, to burn on a blank. If the movie is css
protected, you,ll need something like anydvd, to unencrypt it.
That is just one way, they are many other ways also.
