ha, hey, he's got a 9 game hitting streak goin on. and i dont think it should have been scored an error, but he should have made the play. it was one of those weird baseball moments.
brian jordan compltely ran over the phillies' first baseman, that shit was hilarious. he didnt get called out either.
oh yeah, that picture is from a few years ago. i was trippin my balls off on some good acid when i took that. heh

Heh...I always give the Braves a tough time. I hate 'em - but you have to hand it to 'em, hell, winning the division what? 14 years?! in a row. Craziness.
I'm a Yankee fan but I do love the Mets too. Love going to Shea, love David Wright and Tom Glavine and Pedro (and I hate Mike Piazza so I like the Mets even more this year). I hope they give you guys a run for your money in the NL East, or at least make it into the playoffs as a wild card.

like i said. im actually worried this year. they're the only ones who pose a threat. but if our starting pitchers can get their thumbs out of their asses, we'll be fine.
its so weird for the braves pitchers to not be kicking ass. we're really missing leo mazzone. fucking traitor. it sucks, we finally got some good bats, and our pitching is falling apart. i dont know if its still right or not, but on sunday, espn was talkin about how the braves have scored more runs than anyone else, but theyve given up more than anyone else too.
last night was the 40th anniversary of the first mlb game played in atlanta. a lot of the old players were there, including phil neikro, but hank aaron wasn't. i got a bunch of pics, might get around to em later.

Technically there is a sort of cap...and Steinbrenner can just afford to pay the luxury fees for breaking it.

idk.. im guessing its a different kind of cap from the NFL.. that one seems to work very well at keeping the league competitive and teams within the salary limits

Yeah the NFL has a much fairer cap system, keeps teams honest, forces 'em to cut big names to save their asses.

I hate the Yankess for two reasons. They're New Yorkers, and it's tradition.

I don't consider you a New Yorker, you're just OMR. If you talk like on of them though, that's some points in the negative column

Fair enough. I don't have an NYC accent in the slightest. I'll record myself saying FUCK YOU DAIMYO sometime and upload it.
