How do you feel about your teams stadium?

I'm a displaced Chicagoan living in Milwaukee, so I'll comment on both...
Wrigley Field is more or less a cesspool. I've been to alot of games there, and sure, the history is nice...but serioulsy, tear the place down and build a nice park. I have very few good things to say about wrigley. The bathrooms suck, the seats suck, the view is better now, but it still sucks.
Miller Park is the SHIT. I hate the brewers, but this place is gorgeous. Great site lines...Seriously, every single seat in the house is great. Everything is spacey, the concessions are nice...Great place to see a game. Too bad the Brewers play there...
Oh, The Cell is a pretty nice place to catch a game too. Besides the fact that its in the middle of the fucking ghetto, and your car will get stolen if its a night game. Was at one of the Cubs/Sox games last year, and it was one of the better ball games I've been too in my life...Even though the cubs got shelled.
What about you guys? I want to see the new Busch Stadium....

wrigley is all about the ambiance... yea, its shitty.. but what do you expect from a 100yr old park? theyll never tear it down either... if it starts completely collapsing.. theyll stop playing there... but keep it as a historic landmark/ museum.
wrigley is way better than comiskey was.. i hated that park.. the outfield wall configuration was garbage. the cell is alright.. nothing special though. at least wrigley is unique

Wrigley is not bad, like said its all about history.. taking this thread to a different sport im going to have to go with Cowboys stadium out in Dallas... great playing surface, great seats all around.. and the whole open roof/ closed roof depending on weather is something all stadiums could use

Skydome/Rogers center where the Jays play is pretty decent. Great sightlines and shit, you can be anywhere in the park and still enjoy the game! The only problem is its too big for its own good and as such always looks almost completly empty! But that also means you can usually get good seats for any game

Yankee Stadium is pretty cool, but I hate being in the no-alcohol bleachers. Can't see shit, Cap'n! But when you're in my favorite spot - first mezzanine, towards the front, over the First base line, everything is gooooooooolden.
Last night I remembered that I love Shea Stadium more though, even if I'm a Yankee fan. Something about Shea Stadium is cooler, friendlier, more communal, more colorful.
And now they're both building new ones.

Ameriquest field in Arlington is pretty badass. I like going up to the restaraunts and having a beer with my meal while watching the game. They have a restaraunt in each corner (down 1st and 3rd base line) overlooking the field. It's the only one i've ever been to though.
I can get tickets any time if anyone visits the DFW area. They're 2nd row at the end of the visitor dugout. 4 seats.

As much as I hate the name, comerica park is stunning. It is so much fun just walking around and looking at all the cool things they have there. And you really don't have a bad view, even in the nosebleed sections.

I prefer the cheap seat tickets at comerica park because no matter where I sit I spend most of the time at the center field wall heckling the other teams CF.

I usually get stoned before I go to the game and then yell at them. I had coco crisp laughing at me last year and Chone figgens turned and gave me a smile. I really lit him up because no matter what you say CHONE is not pronounced shawn. Its just not.

you're insane. wrigely is a shrine. I'd rather have small bathrooms then go to games at a place that resembles a mall with adverts f'ing everywhere.

Jacob's Field in Cleveland is a great stadium in my opinion, seems like any seat there has a good view of the action and the architecture is inviting. The only other ballpark I have experience with is the old Cleveland Stadium, a place built more for football than baseball. I miss it though. The bleacher seats really sucked but there was occasional drunken fights going on so it was interesting. Anyone remember the 10-Cent Beer Night riot back in the 70s at the Stadium? I bet Daimyo does (if was born yet that is). Here's a link http://www.baseballlibrary.com/baseballlibrary/features/flashbacks/06_04_1974.stm

I havent been told anything. I love the park on its own historical and simplicistic merit. Like I said, I prefer watching a game in an environment that is not like giant mall out in the middle of nowhere surround by concrete and with giant pepsi ads everywhere inside. getting off of the redline stop that overlooks the field is always a sight. wrigley is a neighborhood park.

I live in Denver. We have 3 state of the art stadiums. All are absolutely beautiful. Invesco Field for the Broncos, only a few years old. Proabably one of the toughest places to play. Fucking place gets LOUD. Pepsi Center is amazing, I just went there for the first time last week and its awesome. Great seating and spotless. Shine everywhere. And then of course, there's Coors Field, while the team sucks and playing at a mile high sucks, the actual stadium is probably the most beautiful ballpark I've ever been too. Esepecially in the middle of a warm summer night, watching the Rockies lose, nothing better.
