this sucks balls

i've been bugging my girlfriend to no end about it but i can't get over it. for the past two nights i've been having really vivid dreams. so vivid and life like that i can recall almost every detail of the dream the next morning or whenever i wake up after it. i'm not scared or anything...actually it's kinda cool to be able to recall something like that. however, i just came home from eating out...*i don't know if that has anything to do with it* and i fell asleep. like right to sleep and while i was dreaming i dreamt about my girlfriend. she had bought me a kinda sex doll of sorts and the sex doll was Veronica Zemanova. if you know who she is you get mad props...she is fine as all out doors. anyway, the sex doll was actually her. it was weird cause like i wanted to do her so bad lol but i couldn't cause my girl was there and everything...anyway to make a long story short she ended up not being who i wanted her to be. she turned out to be a duck dressed like a fucking swan. yes, you read right. okay thats the lead in for whats really pissing me off. it's like...in the dream i turned on a radio and i heard a song. it wasn't a song that i had previously heard though, it was a song that i just made up. i play guitar and whenever i sit down to actually attempt to create something on my own it takes me ages to actually put stuff together because i never took music theory or any guitar lessons or anything like that. so it's a pretty sad sight to sit there and watch me pick at each note trying to find out which note sounds good with which. in the dream though everything flowed. perfectly. like there were no pauses in between the lyrics...the music...nothing. it was like i was just jamming and everything came out right. intro, perfect. verses, perfect. bridge, perfect. i started on the solo but then i thought to myself, "hey this is a bad ass song, i better wake up so i can write it down!" i wake up.

i forget everything.

this is bugging me. like seriously infuriating me. anyone else have problems like this? i don't know what to label this problem as. is it a memory problem? is it just normal? i don't know. any light shed on this subject would be greatly appreciated!

The point of the dream is not to remember the song...



its for you to create.  KEEP AT IT.  your dreams are telling you that it is within you, but its not easy... but do you remember how good you felt when you heard that complete piece of art?  its sooo worth it to write your own music.

that is what your dreams telling you, me thinks :boomboom:
