I usually drink about a 40 oz while I am tripping or coming down from a trip. It helps me relax more. Drinking is the next best thing, behind mushrooms(for getting fucked up)

I tripped one morning on about 1.5 grams and started to fill a tid bit shroomy over the next 1.5 hours.  It was cool and I was definitely mildly shroomy so me and a friend decided to drink some tequila/rum that was laying out from the night before (we weren't drinking the night before, the friend who's house we were at was).  After drinking a bunch of the approximately 750mL bottle we headed out on a walk with the rest of it in a backpack...taking swigs while walking down the street or stopping at chill toker spots from back in the day.

We definitely felt the social/outgoing properties of the booze, with the alcohol effecting us less than if we'd simply drank that same amount w/o consuming mushrooms. 

WELL, when the shroom effects ran out we suddenly were overcome by being piss drunk at 3pm mid-summer in the cloud-free, 90F+ ambient heat.  This part was no fun...I couldn't handle myself so I headed away from everybody I was with (met up at a friends house w/ about 10 people passing bowls around).  I up and left and headed for the open space/nature area so I could lay down somewhere in the bushes and pass out.

I finally got there (after about 1 mile of walking) and layed down against a tree, counting my sorrows.  I pulled out of it a few hours later and returned home w/ a HUGE hangover.

Lesson learned, a bit of booze can be a cheery thing when you combine it with mushrooms but if you overdo it you won't be happy at all.  Besides a beer or two I'd rather keep mushrooms and alcohol seperate.  Alcohol and marijuana is a very different story though :smile:...they should be combined at every chance provided that you are in a safe/comfortable environment.

The only time I drank on shrooms was not a very good experience. On the spurr of the moment thing my girlfriend and I decided to take some shroomies. I only had fresh ones so we had to eat those. It took sometime to eat them because the fresh ones are so damn nasty.

Well anyways I start trippin a little bit and my buddy calls me up and says that he is on his way over and we are going to get drunk. I was like alright so he shows up with an 18 pack and a fat sack. By this time I was starting to trip pretty hard and I had a hard time knowing what was going on at times.

By the end of the night I drank about 8 of the beers and smoked 3 joints. I got really fucked up and I really enjoyed it but I didn't care for some of the effects. The first effect was my memory. My short term memory was so bad that I could not remember what happened a few minutes ago. I would be in a conversation and totally switch subjects because I had forgotten what I was talking about in the middle of the sentence. This is the only time this has ever happened to me while tripping. I contribute it to the beer.

But anyways that was my beer on shrooms story.
