good recipe for a stir fry?
    #5455270 -

I know I want a stir fry for dinner, and don't get me wrong I LOVE the way I make a stir fry, but I want to switch it up a little tonight. I don't have any wild and crazy ingredients, and my stir fry tonight will also be meatless (lack of meat in the freezer).. but I was just wondering if anyone had a quick and easy little recipe for me that might be different tham my own

garlic simmer in olive oil while i get the ingredients together
chop onion, carrots, celery, gr. onion, (w/e veggies i have at the time)
get soya sauce and worchestishire sauce going sometimes with some pinapple juice.. get it boiling.. til it thickings (forgot to add i throw in some chilli peppers)
then I throw the veggies in for a few minutes until they are aldente and serve over rice..

what do ya think?

sure it can work.

usually when it comes to stir fry i like to use soy sauce and oyster sauce and a bit of cornstarch dissolved in water to thicken the sauce...

yea I guess there is no specific way to make a stir fry.. I went with my usual one tonight. I wish I would have had some chicken though.. I also need to invest in some sesame oil.. That really makes a chinese dish!

kimchi base goes really well with a stir fry. It has the salt, garlic, and chili elements all in one, but maintains a unique flavor all its own.
