Green fuzzy shit grew in my perlite to this stage in bout 3 days. I changed it out.

Next time add some h2o2 to the perlite to avoid this situation.

I had tons of h202 in that perlite. I would dump it right on the green shit growing on it. It would loose all its color but come right back. Just changed out the perlite it was only 2 weeks old or so.

It is much easier to keep contaminates from starting to grow in the first place than it is to kill them off once they have a foot hold...

seuss, thats not neccessarily true, often the contaminant is easier to kill after the endospores germinate.

as for the pic, im at a loss to explain why the peroxide didnt kill that shit right away..must be super mold.

Well i think its a mildew of some sort. I guess it doesnt like brown rice or mushroom mycellium cuz it seamed to all stay in the perlite. Ill see if it comes back in the fresh perlite.
