I'M CALIFORNIAN, THAT MEANS...
-I'm mexican or live next door to one
-Our chicks & dudes are WAYYYY hotter than yours
- I say "like" and "for sure" and "right on" and "dude" and "totally" and "peace out" and "hella" and I say them often
- I know what real cheese & avocadoes taste like
- I don't get snowdays off because theres only snow in Mammoth, Tahoe and Big Bear
- I can wear sandals all year long
- I go to the Beach - not "down to the shore"
- I know 65 mph really means 80 ( SOOOO TRUE!! )
- When someone cuts me off, they get the horn and the finger and they accept it and give it back, because that's the California way
- The drinking age is 21 but everyone starts at 14 (legally 18 if you live close enough to the border)
- My governor can kick your governors ass
- I can go out at midnight
-You judge people based on what area code they live in, and when asked where you're from, you give your area code
- I might get looked at funny by locals when I'm on vacation in their state, but when they find out I'm from California I turn into a Greek GOD ( I experienced this a few times, mainly in Montanta)
- We don't stop at stop signs... we do a "california roll" No cop no stop baby!
- I can get fresh and REAL Mexican food 24 hours a day
- All the TV shows you "other" states watch get filmed here
- We have In-N-Out (Arizona and Vegas are lucky we share that with them)
- The best athletes come from here

I lived in cali for a few years. Didn't really want to leave. Thenagain BC isn't all that differant, save for the climate.
But I hate warm weather, so this is the shit.
I do miss all the mexican food though.

This is why a large percentage of the US still makes fun of people from california.
Its like a smaller America..... and by that I mean, they have no knowledge of anything outside of their culture and tend to think that their culture is the best due to that.
Everything on that list with the exception 2 or 3 things can be said of any state. Im from Mississippi.... I lived on the Gulf COast most of my life, and one thing that few people know, is that we have sub-tropical islands (multiple). Gorgeous, unihabited islands available to anyone with a means of getting there. Amazing Flora and Fauna... I remember seeing Corona commercials and comparing it to the view out my sliding glass door and laughing..

Here are some pictures:
1) Horn Island.... 8 miles off the coast. I used to sail my 18' hobie cat there every day of the summer....
2) Ship Island - historical. Still has a Spanish Fort on it with cannons. 11 miles off the coast.

In-N-Out is the shit! I miss Cali soooooo much!
I lived their once when I was in 5th grade. My mom was very sick and couldn't hold a job. We lived by hopping from one campground to another every week along the coast. I went to school about 10 days for my first 5th grade year. I spent the rest of my time surfing, drinking, and smoking indo with the other surfers along the coast. I had no money, yet I had about 5 surfboards before we left because I had so many buddies that just gave me their old ones or small ones.
Cali is extreme. I was either having the best time of my life, or the worst time of my life.
Theres no place like Cali bitches!!!
