What do you guys think of this idea? he has the html and business down and I am fairly decent at gardening, will get better with practice. We plan to offer saliva and possibly cuttings, several kinds of live cactus, calea, sinichuichi, I can't think of any others off the top of my head right now. we dont need to make alot of money, would just be a little hobby. what other plants do you think I should add, that I can grow indoors or in the Canadian summer? how many of you think this is a bad idea?

I think it will be a cool experience. I have doubts on its success. But I do think it would be an awesome experience to have in life that I would not pass up. Sure, it may fail, you may lose money, who knows. But I would do it simply because it is an interesting idea which would most definately be an experience which you would never forget.
Umh, do I get a gift certificate for my contribution?

Do it! Don't forget insane amounts of disclaimers showing these plants are NOT for use, don't sell to minors, just be responsible about it. If you're worried about failing and losing money: "Oh no! I have an insane wholesale amount of Kratom and Salvia! I can only manage to sell a little bit. Whatever am I going to do with it?" It would be a great idea if thats what you're interested in. Dan

YEa, worse comes to worse, you can just use your surplus The only advice I would give you would be to keep your prices competitive (especially low when you are just starting out and competing against more established sites), and talk it up as much as possible. Having siad that, im sure there are plenty of people here that would be more than happy to support your cause

To be honest, i think there are too many "ethnobotanical vendors" out there allready that doesnt have the first clue what they are doing. beeing decent in gardening doesnt qualify. You must, at a minimum, be sure that you can provide products that holds good quality. sorry if i sounds harsh, but i have lots of reasons why i dont like so called "ethnobotanical vendors" , they make enthegoens abused and banned besides selling products and seeds to insanly high prices for a quik profit. They also sell alot of products that doesnt hold good enough quality.

id say go with it.. like u said you dont need to make a lot of money, and i know some people are saying that there are "too many" vendors out there, which may be true.. but i mean you would have the support of many shroomery members to start (a plus)...
best of luck to you! whether you decide to go for it or not

I think it would be cool to specialize in live cacti, post your grow set up if you do.
