Like for spaghetti ?
My girlfriend's brother is sort of a cook. But has no access to the internet.
He's also a pothead
I'm sure there's a sauce recipe that's got a little 'extra magic' to it ?

I would run with any type of sauce, though a cream sauce would be ideal I think, due to the higher fat content. Just add your ground up herb into the mix during the later part of the cooking process where you simmer on low heat, as not to cause the THC to evaporate, but rather effuse into the fats present in your sauce. You could of course make cannabutter or cannabis infused oil and just use that for your cooking as well. But just remember that once the herbs are in your sauce, you should not have them cooking at high heat for extended periods of time.

I guess you want a marinara sauce then. I asked becuase adding pot to a sauce is going to dramatically change the flavor, possibly ruining it.
For red sauce I'd recommend making any sauce you like and adding the bud during the simmering process. Or dump a bottle of premade sauce into a pan, add the bud, and gently simmer for a while.

pot wont ruin it, you should make alfredo because it requires butter and theres a ton of fat in it and your supposed to add parsley but you can use pot instead and i bet it would be delicious...

You don't think substituting pot for parsley will change the flavor of the sauce?
An alfredo sauce was exactly what I was concerned about when I made my post. Obviously there is no way for me to know what kind of reefer he'd be adding to the dish, but I can damn near assure you it would alter the flavor of the sauce.

itll definately change it, but i think in a good way, theres a huge difference between alter and ruin IMHO... i like the taste of bud personally, sometimes ill just take a stem and chew on it while packin a bowl because i LOVE the taste of bud!

Try using hashish.... or making the pasta sauce the night before , soaking the marijuana in the pasta sauce , and than reheat it when you want to eat it .
if you use hash you would be using less... thus making it taste more like the pasta sauce and less like pot... and soaking it... I'm not to sure if that will have any affect but I just thought of it so.. I thought I would share... sounds like a good idea to me.. i'll probably try it cause it sounds good and i'm hungry... I just need to get the greens.... peace

Make sure to add sausage, meatballs, and pork (let the meat simmer a few hours before adding your bud, then follow what geo said.) to your sauce for flavor and extra fat to aid in the thc extraction.

If you're looking to feel the effects of the ganja, I wouldn't recommend such a large meal. From what I've read, you want something lighter... like brownies.
But I'm sure the flavor will be interesting!
