Double your harvest!!

Ok, for all you experienced fgrowers out there this post will be obvious, but for those who aren't I hope this helps. Right, so you've just started your first grow plants have reached about 12" in height and your about ready to start flowering (this is assuming that your growing indoors). Problem is you've waited about 3-4 weeks for them to get this far and it'll be at least 8 weeks till you can harvest, and then 12 weeks after that for the following harvest! Solution? Just before you change the light cycle take a load of cuttings (about 25% more than you need in case some don't make it) and put them either on a window ledge or under a florecent light(they have a good blue spectrum which is needed for vegative growth, but aren't veery powerfull so use 2 or more if possible). If you have a spare MH or HPS amp then thats betterm, but as we're assuming that its your first grow, we're also assuming that you don't have the cash for that. Now while your main crop is flowering away, these cuttings will start to root and grow. With a bit of luck, by the time you finished your first crop the next will be ready to start flowering straight away, saving you at least 4 weeks. However, (and i'm not sure this will work with flourecents as they have a low red spectrum which flowering plants need) it is possible to start the cuttings flowering as soon as they reach +/- 12". This should be after 4-5 weeks so will save you another couple of week in total. Whilst this second batch is flowering, you can regenerate your favourite plants from the first batch (beware regenerated plants can get huge!!! So make sure you have the space) which will in turn be ready to flower once the second batch has flowered. You could also work on a 3 room system (4 weeks in each room) giving you a harvest every month!! Remeber that the small plants will need less room (you could start them in a small cuboard or something) so this is an option with limited space available. Hope that this will be useful to some people.

I have heard regenerated plants don't do that well. Higher chance for turning hermie and stuff.

hermies is not a huge problem for regenerated plants, pest and 1 fingerd leaves are a much frequent problem. it should also be noted that pruning is important when regenerated plants. And that you loose some of your first harvest by doing it. Most people doesnt have the space for a 3 or 4 room grow setup but you can regenerate your cannabis plants outdoors in the summer, I sometimes do that. But all in all I think its better to start with new plants instead.

Some vareity's this is true, but the heamphrodite thing only applies to plants that have been feminised and cuttings taken from feminised plants. Haemaphrodits are very rare under normal circumstances. My top-44 plant absolutly loves being regenerated, and also puts on a ridiculous amount of growth during flowering stage(flowered at 10", reached 5'6"!!). I don't know if this is typical, or just a genetic freak as this is first time growing it and i only got 1 female out of 9 seeds germinated. But have taken cuttings since then and they've all rooted really well and grown fast. Great plant btw. sweet smoke, nice mind buzz but not very strong.
