Definitely sit down and talk to him about how you're feeling, and go from there. He could just be avoiding confrontation about the whole situation because he's embarrassed about what happened with your car. Either way, he's handling it wrong, but if he's your best friend at least talk to him and maybe shit will work itself out.

might just be the battery or alternator, the electrical system will click when it doesnt have enough voltage, then the PoP, could have been a backfire from unburned gas being expelled since the spark plugs didnt have the juice to explode the mixture, just a suggestion , before u decide to scrap it might be worth a look.

Yeah, that's actually much better advice than what I said.

If you do that and he's STILL not apologetic, see my response.

I have a friend who's like this... he avoids everything. It took him over a year to pay me back 90 dollars, despite his full-time job and me being unemployed at the time... then it took him another year to apologize for putting it off for so long.

But in the long run, he didn't mean to hurt me... I thought he was just a bastard... turns out he just has no coping skills. We're still friends. Not BEST friends, but the point is that a little communication goes a long way.
