Hey all. First post on this board, have apparently been ripped off by Sporechicks ($40 for 4 P. Ecuador syringes) -- anyone else been having problems with them? I'd never ordered from them before, but they had Ecuador spores at a good price so I gave them a try, Dec. 13th. Never got my spores, neither was my letter returned to me, and neither did I get any kind of message to my e-mail addy which I'd included in case they had any problems with my order. I'm a little irritated by having been ripped off, but I'm more pissed off by the fact that I should have a nice little crop of Ecuadors popping up about now and as it is I'm shroomless and will be for some time to come. Is Sporechicks still legit? Did they go under? If so why haven't they removed their web page? Phuque

i've ordered from sporechicks 3 times... obviously i wasn't ripped or else i wouldn't have ordered again. not only did i receive my orders put the prints were sterile. how do i know they were sterile you ask... the trip was great.
This was a mistake... I didn't read this post correctly. I thought it was of SporeWorks. I have never ordered from sporechicks.

There are like a thousand storys like yours dude.
Hell they dont even seem to visit this site either.

Sorry to hear that, I've heard lots of stories like this lately. I doubt they would intentionally rip you off, have you been able to contact them? I'm sure they'll make good..

i'd have to agree. although i believe the sporechicks are good people trying to operate an honest business, they are not doing a swift job of it  when i ordered it took one and a half months to get my order (because they were moving when i submitted my order), the syringe was contaminated so all 12 of my jars got a pink contam that some people said could possibly be bacterial meningitis  ! i asked for a replacement, which they said they would send but never did. then about three months ago i noticed they had a shroomery account so i PMed them explaining the situation this time they sent the syringe  ! i'm growing out the eq's now, but 4 of my jars were victim to cobweb (66% success)... although i think i was a bit careless with my sterility this time, i was in a hurry and you all know about patience
so anyways, i think the chicks are allright, just not suited to be vendors

I e-mailed them three days ago, no reply so far. I guess patience is the key, and never ordering from Sporechicks again of course...

Im sorry to hear that. You may want to try "The Little Guy" the url is http://community-2.webtv.net/the_littleguy/doc/. He has inexspensive spore syrings for $10 with speedy delivery. And if you are seeking spore prints, you can give us a try as well.

Going to order from ralphster this time because I know from experience that he's reliable and his syringes are sterile, but I've got you bookmarked.

man those sporechicks haven't sent my 4 syringes yet either, its been about three weeks but i haven't complained or emailed yet, i ordered like a year ago from them and they sent it no probs on time and everything, they must be unusually backed up or something... maybe some unseen problem has arisen, anyone ever had to get there money back for a mail order from the post office? what is there SN? i am going to email them to ask whats up, i did like the chicks but after hearing all these negative reports i'm gonna have to go with thehawkseye or some other vendor
