sporechicks ripped me off and if they think they are immune theyare very wrong........I ordered a month ago and they kept makin up excuses and blew me off.I was real nice too.....why dont they respond to my e mails anymore...I know they got my order...Iv ordered from all the most reputable vendors and they are the onlyones who ripped me off and now refuse to even answer an e mail.......they do suck and we should all post warnings and blackball theyre asses!! Im a nice guy but i read all the postings bout the poisons they are selling and thats not acceptable at all ......boycott time friends!!!!! thats attrocious!!!!!! i just want my money back!!!!!

They're not selling poisons. A number of their syringes were contaminated with a purple contaminant of sorts. Then everyone got freaked out 'cuz someone, I think ryche, posted that one certain purple bacteria can cause bacterial menengitis(sp?) If it were that type, there would be a few dead people, and no one has died yet. Everyone just got panicked. If you have read other posts, the spore chicks replaced most of the contamed syringes with better syringes. They have been going through a move lately and have been in and out of contact. Thats life though. They'll probably get to you eventually.

i to am upset at them. I ordered a syringe like back in
june i got a month later it came down with that purple crap
and i flipped out for a minute(i was ready to wrap myself
in tin tinfoil before throwing the jars out :) ) well
aanyway, i emailed the chicks and they where sorry and all
and said they'll replace it that was along time ago, and
now i get no response at all :( aarrgghh

Actually, one of my friends ordered some stuff from them a while back, maybe a month ago, and since then they've been arguing back and forth in e-mail (though I hear that now they wont even reply). Not really sure what happened between them, but he never got his order, and lost around $50. Just stating the facts to caution people. A year earlier he ordered stuff from them and said the service was pretty reliable, but recently it seems they've slipped on that.

My friend's order came very late and was contaminated. He's received no response so far since he notified them of this. I tell him he may not want replacements anyway- why invest the time and effort into something that you can't really trust won't be contaminated? He realizes a refund isn't going to happen.

I was one of the first to point out that evil pink/purple contamination with SporeChicks syringes. It took a little while but I did get replacements that were completely viable and uncontaminated. It must have been a very big batch to have so many syringes contamed... just remember it wasn't intenional...shit happens sometimes. The same thing could most likely happen to any vendor with a little bad luck.
As for their lack of response to some...I do think they need to keep better tabs on emails and get back on the ball in that area. All I can suggest is to keep trying to contact them and even though there is a problem with your orders continue to be courteous or at least partially civil with your emails. Eventually they may get back to you.

contamination is ok w/ an apology and quick service. i
suggest tracing the money order and pursuing legal action.
with sporechicks rampant paraniod habit of wanting blank
MOs id say thatll kick them in gear. its obvious they dont
respect customers and would rather blow a joint than
fulfill obligations. they claim same day shipments, which
evidently never happen. i agree they should be shitlisted
until they post an apology on the front page of thier site.
either stop the bad business practices or prepare for a
fuck of a backlash.

I really don't think a constant slamming is necessary in a mushroom forum, but I guess it comes with the territory. Yes, as most of us know we did have a run-in with contams and, as a result, deliveries were halted to make sure we weren't sending out more of the same. It sucked but it's what we had to do. In the meanwhile, the orders didn't stop coming in, nor did the sea of e-mails. It has put us in a temporary jam that we are still crawling out of now that we are back to sending out orders.
If you hate us, we really can't do anything about that. But we have NEVER ripped off anyone and we are making up for everyone's losses and delays. All we ask is a little patience and understanding.
If you do not get an e-mail response (we get 100s a day so it makes it tough to get to all of them), just PM us here. We have had 1 PM in the past 2 weeks here and it was not a complaint.
Also, to those Shroomeryites who helped bail us out during the midst of our challenge, THANK YOU! We're almost there...

dont like gettin slammed? dont give us fodder. what happens

I bet your one of those people that think everyone should cater to your every desire but don't beleive you should treat other people with respect in return. The sporechicks have stated in the past, when this whole mess started, that they were going through some personal changes and some problems with their "spore business" may arise, check older posts. You are just too hung up on this, they gave an explanation and are trying their best to rectify their mistake, deal with it. And your absolute lack of understanding "smacks of highschool bitchiness.

Really, this shit is getting old....I have never ordered from sporechicks and never plan to, really can't see any need to order any cubensis spores anyways, but they are as reputable as any of the other vendors and for the past month or so everyone keeps slamming them, at first I thought it was other vendors using puppets, I still think that's what got it started.
Anyways, all vendors send out contaminated syringes, I have ordered from alot of vendors in the past and the only one that never sent me at least one contaminated syringe was 3M. Sporechics isn't just going to rip someone off, and no syringes aren't supposed to be contaminated, but they are sometimes, that's life, get over and and get a replacement.
