Amazing differance in 5 differing strains. All grown same time, conditions, substrate, tray size & casing mix.
All harvested within one hour & set side by side on a glass sheet. (24 hours)

 Left to right.
Amz, DT (China), SA, Mex A & EQ.
But don't let print size or spore set influence you.
Each cap size & spore set can differ - from fruit to fruit. So there is NOTHING scientific here.
Just casual observations.

for the most part I haven't ever had a weak south american print. haven't had the pleasure of working with any of the other strains.

Are you using those spores? Arent they mixing with each other sitting next to each other like that? Or is that just for viewing?

keeping spores in open air long enough to take a picture is long enough to contaminate them. agar is a highley decorated user on this forum and i highly doubt he will be using them.
south americans have to be in my top five favorite strains. i love the silver look they get around the edges when dry.

LOL.......

First off. Caps spewing spores side by side could/would/can lead to cross contamination of one strain into another.
Second. Moving a glass plate with spore prints on it, around in normal room air would/could almost certainly contaminate them with mold spores.
Third. I know better.
Fourth. I did this with the idea of framing the prints, in picture frames. Art Nouveau Deco
But, they did not turn out well, as I had hoped. So, I took a picture of them. Then, ran the glass sheet though the dishwasher.
PS, I am not trying to sound like an A/H - either. Just a long night, combined with an early morning.

Foil is the real heavy duty stuff restaurants use. I buy huge rolls from Smart & Final store. (CostCo also carries it, sometimes)
