optimal conditions for different strains
    #428986 - 10/17/01 10:34 PM (21 years, 11 months ago)

hey all, just a quick question about what conditions are best for different strains. Someone grew Mazatec and classic PF in the same terrarium the first time with lower humidity levels (85-90%) and got great PF results, with shitty Mazatec. In the next batch the humidity was much higher (94%) and the PF did a lot worse, but the Mazatec did AWESOME. Does anyone know the best conditions for the different strains, specifically Hawaiin and B+?

They're all basically the same.

Very true. Each species of P. Cubensis thrives in about the same environment. A bit warmer and the fruiting cycle is a bit faster; a bit colder, the cycle slows down.

But what ive noticed is that some species do better colonising in different temps..eg: B+ tended to be slower than other strains at the correct temps, but in a colder area, they did okay, while my cambos slowed... Maybe this was just situational though...
