Just wondering if anyone here has a setup where the heater is in the center of the terarium, like a aquarium heater in a jar. That way the heat is more central, and covers more area. I dont know wether to do that,or just get 1 heater on either side of the chamber.

My INcubation chamber is goofy: It's a huge cardboard box taht is lined with styrofoam peanuts in the bottom. IN the center of the box is a plastic pitcher. Inside the pitcher is a tall glass vodka bottle with my aquarium heater inside it. I fill the vodka bottle and the pitcher that the vodka bottle is in full of water. Then I just put all my jars, bags, etc. scattered in the peanuts. I telll myself that the peanuts are for insulation. Then I keep the lid closed and stick it in teh closet. It's always 82 degrees at any point in the box. Works for me!

I have a large incubator. In the center in a 50W heater submerged in a jar of water. Perfect for anywhere between 80-85 degrees.

i have a 3x3x10' incubator. i use a liquid heated space heater. to avoid the red hot coil type. its in the bottom o f the incubator, runs about 5 minutes every half hour. only problem, my incubator is only covered with plastic, and it heats up my terrarium room a bit my terrarium room is abou t 24 degrees celcius. is this too hot? 24 is what... 74 or 76 maybe. my incubator is at 28-29degrees celcius which is 82-84 fer.
