Can anyone tell me the best place for my humidifier..... above the terrarium with the hose coming down into it? or should the humidifier be low and the the hose going up and then back down into the terrarium? or would it matter?,,Thanks in advance

If it's a smaller terrarium like a cooler you can run it in the top of the side and have a co2 drain in the bottom of the side but If it's a big martha stewart tent or something large you can run it in the bottom and the humidity rises. The main thing is to not have a sag in the tubing anywhere because the inside of the tubing will constantly condense and has to drain out. A low spot will fill full of water and stop the airflow. Another thing is cut the ends of your tubing at an angle. Or it will be prone to stopping from just a couple of drops. Sorry if you already knew this stuff. Hope that helps. Peace.

Thanks for the quick replies........ Think I`ll put it up high and the hose straight down with no kinks or coils in it sounds good. I have a plexi-glass spray sheild insid already, so I think through the top and C02 release hole in the bottom sounds good. I have phenomenal results with just misting and a fish tank air bubbler in a jar of water. But this sounds like less maintenance and higher humidities.I`ve been running around 85% the old way but my casings dry and shrink from the sides. Thanks again ...

I dont think a cool mist needs a spray shield. i have mine right in the terrarium, i have a 2 gallon rig, running on a low setting, with the humidstat at about 95%. of course, the terrarium is 2x4x6
