Autoclavable Bags?
    #529058 - 01/23/02 12:05 PM (21 years, 2 months ago)

Where can I get some cheap autoclavable bags? I want to use them like boiling bags to sterilize rye substrate in a pressure cooker.

go to a biological supply store, if you have a univ around you, they will likely have one. they are like 10 cents a piece
only drawback to these, are they are orange..
if not, get some oven bags.
ive never used ovenbags in a a/c, but the orange biohazardous waste bags work fine. they are designed for labs to autoclave pitre dishes before disposal, they are lkike 10 cents

There are many vendors here that sell these bags.
Check out the vendors forum for FungiPerfecti, MushMush, and many others. do a search as well. I'm sure in a matter of minutes there will be a massive list of vendors that will be glad to help you out.

The Sporeworks self-healing injector site bags... Would they be good to fill like 3/4 the way with BRF/V. And about that filter patch wouldent that get water logged and be a contamination Risk? Has anyone used these things with any great results????
