yeah recording is fun! I recorded some electric guitar with a solo yesterday: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/5299628
thanks for the comments on my music I first I made things in Reason, and now I use Cubase. For the percussion I use drum samples that are on my computer and make rhytms out of it hit for hit
what kind of sample would you like?
ps I think a midi drumkit would be cool for you

All I use to record myself is my Sony cassette recorder. I used to have Cool Edit Pro and the like, but the pc crashed recently =(

Any type of sample i could add, if it's cool with you, some percussion just for the fun of it. I've tried Yamaha bigger midi kits and i may get one in the future. I was in a shop last week and lifted Rolands dvd and checked out their drums...sweet sounding. Thats AAX stage hats and a 17 inch AAX studio crash in the pic and if you place the mic in the right position they sound pretty good.
Lets get a shroomery song together....i already had that guitar you posted on the link, listening to it now...

Here's a little recording trick I like to use to give individual tracks more presence. Copy a single track into audacity (google it if you don't have it). Split the track into L and R channels. Apply .05 seconds of echo on one side. This makes the track sound so much bigger.

How's that M-Audio USB Fasttrack working out for you. I need something to record my guitar into my computer without shelling out alot of cash for getting a condenser mic. Does it come with any efx or software?
