So, right now Im at work, at a venue called 3rd and Lindsley.
I got a crowd here with no band coming on for atleast an hour.... the age group is pretty varied, but a bunch of myspace kids will be pouring in here soon.
I got Rhapsody online right now, so I can get mostly anything as long as it isnt way too obscure. no death metal suggestions though, really cant play that here.

yeah.... luckily its only once a month. The chick that does the booking here is completely incompetent and just plain sucks (literally and figurativly).
We still have good bands come in though.
Ill be working here Thursday this week, but I usually only do mondays and tuesdays.

Hip-hop/jazz flavor from Guru Jazzy/disco/synth/jam flavor from Cinemaphonic Easy guitar/jams from Ben Harper (ie. Burn one Down or Excuse Me Mr.) Easy guitar/jams from Jack Johnson Easy guitar/jams from Bob Marley World/dance jam from Beck (ie. Tropicalia) Jazz from John Scofield & Medeski Martin & Wood (ie. A Go Go)
and someone's knockin' on the door so I gotta go -- but that's what I'd want to hear if I was in your club

Rap- Aesop Rock (trust me, he's the best MC of all time.) Rock- Built To Spill, Explosions in the Sky, Minus the Bear, Early Modest Mouse, Fugazi. Electronic- RJD2, DJ Shadow, Prefuse 73, Boards of Canada, Blockhead
Mas?

I would love to play aesop rock, dose one, and anticon, but they dont have any albums on rhapsody. I play a little boards of Canada.... but they really dont hold the crowd well.... basically anything that doesnt force you to directly listen is no good.... even though I throw on a little telephasic worshop every now and then for myself.
good suggestions... and pepper just reminded me of butthole surfers which I am currently jamming.
