Substrate IV?
    #523698 - 01/17/02 05:24 PM (21 years, 10 months ago)

Hello,

I need some advice. Has anyone out there used a clean syringe to inject a dried out substrate with water and hydrogen peroxide?

I was thinking of going in rows with about 2" spacing and puting 2cc's in each hole.

any ideas or help is welcome.

thanks pj

because the substrate is drying out there has been three flushes and misting isn't cutting it. i really don't have much to loose.

that is why.

Yes, I have done this... it works quite well. Don't know about after the 3rd flush tho.

You might want to try the drinking straw tek, drill a hole in the cake/casing and put a straw in. Then, fill the straw with water.

The substrate in question is a straw/ worm casting combo that is poored out over the bottom of a large rubbermaid container about 3-4" of substrate with no casing layer.

thanks for the replies
