Pan cyan?

A FOAF has some half pint jars of manure and vermiculite colonizing and was wondering what the substrate looks like when fully colonized. Hes grown P. cubensis before but the pan cyan mycilium is so much finer and he doesnt know if he should case when there was a thin layer of fluffy white mycilium on all the substrate or if he had to wait untill it was totally white. Thanks in advance.
