My adventureous last few days

Well last Sunday was quite an adventure for me. I meant to put up this story earlier but had to do a lot of things concerning my accident. So last Sunday was the first time I went snowboarding this season. I was stoked as I had season passes the last 2 years, and this season decided not get one as I'm going to Thailand in (countdown) 11 days! So my girlfriend, my buddy Subaru, and I head up to Cypress. We pay for our passes and go up for our first run. I just bomb it down the down without any consideration that I haven't snowboarded for nearly a year. It was quite icy, but I was making it out alright. I go up to hit a jump off the side of the run and hit an icy lip at the top of it. Go sideways and land right on my face. I've fallen tons of times like this before but man was that ice hard. I got up and was just bleeding everywhere.





I ended up getting snowmobiled down to the first aid place and of course everybody was quite disgusted by me. They cleaned my face up and said everything was good to go. Luckily since it was my first run of the day, they gave me free day passes for my girlfriend, my buddy, and I even though we only paid for evening passes. So I get home, face is sore and bloody, and I get to cleaning it a bit. A lot of dry blood in my nose so as I'm cleaning that up, I notice that there is a hard part. I thought it was dry mucus but I notice that it's my freakin cartilage sticking up through my nose.



Kinda hard to see, but it was coming through my nose there. So I proceed to go to the hospital to let them check that out. After the usual 2 hour wait, I get taken in and the doctor sticks these 2 drenched towels up each nostril.



It smells awfully like vinegar, but after a minute, my nose goes numb and so does the whole back of my throat. It feels awfully like the drips. I'm with my girlfriend at this point and I tell her it tastes like coke. So she checks in the garbage and guess what she finds...



Cocaine

That's right 4% cocaine. 40 mg/ml in a total of 5 ml. He used two bottles and nearly a quarter gram in each one. (200 ml). I think to myself, what if I got drug tested?? Not that they do that much in Canada but could I justify a positive test on cocaine?? Well ten minutes after comin up for a bit, the doctor comes back and attempts to put the cartilage back where it came from. After 10 minutes of no success, the doc is stumped and refers me to another guy in the morning. As I'm walking home I definitely can't stop moving my jaw and find it quite difficult to go to sleep. I go to that other doctor in the morning. I ended up having surgery that afternoon after seeing the guy in the morning. They put me under anaestethic and fixed my nose up. I got to go back to the doctor in a week as he put splints in my nose. There sort of uncomfortable, but better than it was before. Face still pretty scarred up but time will heal...hopefully before I go to Thailand.

Holy fuck. Sounds like that shit was painful and very uncomfortable. I don't mind getting cut up real bad but if it's in a spot like my eye, nose, or mouth I get freaked out by it.

Jesus man that shit looks bad. ouch. You wouldn't have much to worry about since it was administered by a doctor. Should be very well documented what you were given.

Yeah you don't want the bar girls. You need to go to a parlor with part-timers. Have a local you befriend take you to one. Those girls are hot, pro and know exactly what to do. Part timers are the best because they are hot girls that have regular jobs, just doing it for spare $$. Love you long time.

Hey atleast you got a free line of coke.

But really that sucks, I have had a similar accident b/c of ice but I landed on the back of my head and got a small concusion. Atleast I rode the rest of the way down after laying there for a good 10 miniutes.
