is this some sort of age old myth or can you really smoke mushrooms and trip? Can someone please clarify this for all of us?

i think you get a very little from smoking shrooms. its more of a waste. you'd get more from them if you just ate them.

point is, heat breaks down the psilocybin. So whatveer "rush" you're getting...it's all in your head cause the psilocybin was broken down. Now, not ALL of it breaks down but it's gonna be way less than eating it. Making tea is fine...cause it's not to a point where it's as hot as fire.
