Hey all --
Just wondering if it is possible/effective to smoke shrooms, possibly mixed with marijuana? I have never done shrooms, but do smoke week quite often, so just curious...

Dear god, not again.
It's the general concensus around here that it IS A WASTE OF GOOD SHROOMS TO PUT A FLAME TO THEM!
The chemicals in shrooms that make you trip are very fragile, and break down quickly in the presence of heat. If you wan't to trip, eat the shrooms like everyone else. If you want to waste some and maybe get a little high...then go ahead and smoke them.

No, fungus don't burn, and neither does psilocin(you will only ruin it by heating it).
Don't try it, i promise you it won't work.

I don't know, I buddy of mine said when he smoked a bowl of mushrooms while he was already tripping it intensified the trip quite a bit for a while. I'm pretty sure you can smoke shrooms and trip a bit for around an hour. Granted, it isn't a very efficient way of using your shrooms, but you can do it. All of the psilocybin isn't destroyed, its not nearly as fragile a molecule as LSD.

They sell em in A Dam rolled up with green and it does add a different trip to it. Though as stated earlier it is no where near what you get by consuming.

Maybe then u wouldn't get so many fucked up replies.
Ok heres the shit, the whole smoking shrooms thing has resulted form the ability to SMOKE amantias(sp?) they are shrooms so therefor yes u can smoke shrooms, but not all kinds, anything with psilocybin won't get ya high from smoking due to breakdown of the active chem psilo. @ ~109 or something.
Mixing Am with weed is a great combo, the increased salivation brought on by the active chems in the Am will sort of neutralize the "cotton mouth" feeling from the pot, and well guess the trip might be more fun, well since i don't like mj anything would make it more fun.
this will hopefully clear up any misconceptions for what about a week or 2.

I think that I was just too drunk!!
I would of sworn that I had a little 5 minute highly visual trip upon smokeing a bowl of small dried 'shrooms (PF strain).... However, I had eaten 'shrooms hours before, smoked a lot AND drank about 15 beers before I decided to smoke 'em.

Well I did try searching first -- no results in the past 6mos with my attempt. And if you get this question so often, just don't bother replying -- seems a lot simpler than getting all worked up over it.

u see alot of us get really bored here, and then there are some who don't know too much of anything so they really don't make any constructive replies. Instead they like to feel smart by flaming people who are new to the site and well haven't seen these questions asked 20 times over. But don't worry, who gives a shit if u piss off a few people with some posts, it get fun after awhile, but the search function does contain loads of info which if not used is kinda going to waste, so next time try to use it 1st, odds are u'll get better replies/results there the from some of the peopel here.
