this will end the posts a COUPLE days at least, search if you REALLY want to smoke shrooms. IT IS A WASTE. getting tired of seeing shit after shit about smoking shrooms, eat them, they taste horrible when smoked. weed tastes good smoked, smoke that. end of flame haha:)

well, for those who don't know... psilocybe mushies contain many many more alkaloids than psilocybin and psilocin, many of which are active when smoked (among them DMT, although a very small amount)... so depending on the level of these other alkaloids, it is possible to trip/get high from smoking mushies (especially very fine powder since it oxidizes much more rapidly)... just thought I'd share that

seems right, everyone is always bitching about using dmt to up psilocybin levels, so this makes sense, i guess thegold... never even tried smoking and just started to bs.
I'm guessing u would have to smoke alot though

Why start a thread telling people not to start a thread, period.
By the time the next person decides to ask or talk about smoking mushrooms, this thread will be completely out of sight. Come one, this is General Questions. If there is a thread about smoking mushrooms and someone is interested, they'll just read the current thread. Otherwise, they'll post, asking a General Question, ex:"Can I smoke mushrooms?".
Hell, it's somewhat annoying, but still, we're here to answer.

Also, many mushrooms taste like SHIT when even eaten.
Nasty at the least. Smoking couldn't be much worse.

Its funny..I guess that we often forget that new people join this board everyday and that they aren't familiar with the search etc..I guess those of us that are here all the time know it as common sense, but LEvi is right we shouldn't be so harsh on people's questions...if we don't want to read it we don't have to...=) take care all

i think you should just eat them!! psilocybin is sensitive to extreme heat and it will waste the potency. they taste soooo bad when smoked also. i was wearing off of a 4 gram trip once and i decide to smoke the remaining gram. i almost threw up twice and and i didnt feel anything. it might have been since my tolerance was up since i just ate 4 grams but it might have been i killed some psilocybe, and it was only 1 gram. i just couldnt stand the taste!! it was alot hotter also. when weed is smoked the smoke isnt so hot but the smoke from shrooms is scorching hot!!

I agree with you. But, still, it's a General Question and believe it or not, many many Human Beings have the capability to come up with the question straight from their own brain!
Wow, and sometimes, really, sometimes those people have no idea the question has been asked at this very site, time and time again. I for one will let them know it's a waste, unless of course if someone else is so kind as to take their precious time and answer it for me.
