Ps. Cubensis, Orrisa India

Has anyone has success with this strain? Any suggestions on substrate, etc.. Couldnt find much on it.

All the way from India, an EXTREMELY large growing cubensis that spawned from elephant dung has blessed us all. This strain of cubensis has to be one of the largest growing we have ever seen. We have seen some mixed results from this one as well. We've seen some very deformed mushrooms on casings with poor results in the beginning. And we've seen quite a few very beautiful casings runs with some very large and robust mushrooms. Colonizing speed is average, with fairly rizomorphic mycelium, and potency is extreme for a cubensis.

I was planning to use WBS, case (2.5'') with a 50/50 Sphagnum peat/Verm layer (1/4''). Any comments/suggestions? would be helpful

use rye grains and spawn to tennstud 50/50 mix if your going to fruit off grains i belive that rye is better for fruiting and wbs is better for spawn. as wbs tends to have uneven pinsets. But i still say go for it and use rye and spawn that to poo poo

I'll do some searching on horse manure casing, thanks for the suggestion!

I have a casing going right now using the techs you just mentioned wbs and 50/50 it just went into the FC today.

i've got a GREAT head stash off of 10cc's worth (courtesy of the Hawks Eye) of the Orissa India's. these were grown right off classic brf cakes. these (from what i hear) are best grown off of doody and will get HUGE on poo, and i'll admit they didn't have huge flushes on my cakes... but the fruits i got were thick and beautiful. they didnt seem to hold a lot of water compared to some strains.

i'm looking fwd to growin em on poo. i'll be brewin some O.I. LC as soon as my next spore order gets here...

Did you dose any of them? I'm curious about potency. I've heard many say all cubensis have basically the same potency; taking into consideration substrate used, etc..



Also- What about PESA. Any good? I heard there was controvercy over them actually being Cube's or Azure's because of there potency. As you can see, potency is what im really lookin for hear; i'll like large yeilds of course, but i just want some real good potent, easy growin cubes me a some friends can have a good time on

not yet. had em on long term storage for a rainy day. i've dosed several friends who couldn't complain. potency per gram wasnt an issue. as far as all cubes being the same... i can always notice the difference between strains even though each strain can give different trips (alot of its on you, not just the shrooms).

but, yes, they're good. that's why i ordered more spores.

oh, and... ALL cubes are potent if you grow em right. you shouldn't worry so much. i got my first flush long ago and i'm still overwhelmed by my mushies.

I've shroomed several times, but everytime i asked a friend which strain it was (last trip was a year or so ago, so i wasnt to keen on diff ones; just curiosity) they wouldnt know. One kid was sayin, "Liberty Caps man, they are brutal". Had heard about those, semilanceata (sp) and these were clearly not; didnt look like them, and a 6g trip didnt bring me near anythin like id dosed before.

Ill keep postin after production and whatnot
