casing moisture

once a casing starts to pin my understanding is not to mist it anymore because this will cause abhorts. so if your casing is pinning but is also drying out how do you rehydrate it without causing abhorts or some sort of damage to the fruits you already have?

again, this post (or one identical in nature) was answered very recently by Anno. you can still add moisture if you want by slightly and lightly misting the areas that there are no pins, or adding some water around the edges. if a pin gets water on it it does not immediately abort, but the chances of drwoning a pin (with a heavy misting) do increase the chances of aborting greatly.
