Cream and tripping

Let me say first that I love Cream, but this post is all about the fact that people shouldn't trip while listening to Cream. I know a lot of you trip to stuff worse than that, but Cream is my personal limit(I usually only trip to 60's groups or classical or maybe techno). Cream was a so called psychedelic 60's group comprised of Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker. They have at least 3 GREAT trip songs. 1)I Feel Free from 2)Sunshine of Your Love from 3)White Room from Most of thier other work is about depression and saddness, such as "Blue Condition", "We're Going Wrong", etc..These are not the types of messeges you want to be hearing while tripping. In conclusion, Cream is a good band to listen to while smoking pot, but not to trip to other than the songs mentioned. They dressed psychedelic, and their album covers were psychedelic, but Cream obviously had no idea what the whole psychdelic movement was about. They were basically wolves in sheeps clothing when it came to that.

Days of future passed, the whole album.. it allmost sounds like they are describing a trip.. from anticipation to peak.. hmm, they even say peak hour at the (scaled) apropriate time... hmmm.. then the long come down, calm... very nice.. or in search of the lost chord... Be it sight, sound, smell, or touch there's something inside that we need so much The sight of a touch or the scent of a sound or the strength of an oak with roots deep, in the ground the wonder of flowers to be covered and then to burst up, through tarmac, to the sun again or to fly to the sun without burning a wing to lie in the medow and hear the grass sing to have all these thigns in our memories hoard and to use them.. to help us.. to find... the lost chord..

Be careful when you say "early" MoodyBlues. They had this one hit "Go now", I don't know what album it was from, but everyone agrees it sucked. It seemed like it was pre-LSD, and I don't think Justin Haywood had joined yet.

Ok, well I want to hear everything from 1967's "Days of Future Passed" to 1971's "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour" Those were really the best years for rock n roll if you think about it
