no growth

I made about 100+ jars about a week ago and all of them are showing growth except a few that i made with SHORT grain brown rice (freshly ground). Has anyone had any experience with this before? Also, I was wondering if anyone has ever used ground rye berries in place of BRF via the MMGG. Thanks for the input.

Just to let ya know if that is 100+ half pints, your going to have a little under a POUND of shrooms(dry) if cased properly. Thats about 10 pounds wet, sheesh. Hope I don't see you on my local street corner anytime soon.

Anyhows I have no experience with your other two questions so i'll just fade into the darkness.
