but it dosent, it returns you to the post you just made.

This always drove me nuts, is this somthing that i can change somehow in the user CP? or just somthing that happens to everyone?

Yeah this bugs me too, but I'm always wary of changing stuff once people get used to it working a certain way. I can easily make it redirect to the forum though, if that's the general preference.

yeah, im sure that lotts of people are used to it, i was just wondering if it was somthing on my end somehow. only problem is sometimes with this crappy laptop trace pad for a mouse, sometimes i cant get to return to the forum in time.

how about just changing from saying "forum" to saying "thread". you know something along the lines of. Your post has been entered, in a moment you will return to the thread. have it say what it is actually going to do.

or as zippoz already said have it as an option in the preferences that lets you choose.
