tonight we envelope ourselves
in something that cannot be tasted
something that can make us not feel
please
let us stand corrected
please
teach us the true meaning of illusion
please
play the music you stole from the circus

harmonize with my scratches
my fingernails dig trenches
somewhere
to take something somewhere
