So what's with the Chuck Norris business?

I want to know why Chuck Norris is so cool all of a sudden. I thought he was some old washed out actor (actually, i still believe that). Apparently people have taken a liking to him once again. Is this because of Conan O'Brian? Is it beacuse of his shitty "Walker Texas Ranger" show? Maybe some of you know. Please enlighten me.

Some of those are pretty damn funny, but I just don't get why people think he's such a bad ass now. I think he's trying to steal the title from Tony Montana as the biggest bad ass in the world. It's not gonna happen. :thumbdown:

I don't know man, i've talked to quite a few people who had stuff like that posted on their blogs and they really do think he's awesome. I'm sure one could take that stuff which ever way he pleased though.

I never did like watching Walker Texas Ranger or any show on USA for that matter.

When people are trying to be ironic funny, a lot of the time they try to sound more sincere, because that's part of the joke. I think you may have misinterpreted their jokes. I have a lot of trouble believing that anyone who found anything on that list funny would also take Chuck Norris seriously.

Seriously though, the last ten minutes of Walker, Texas Ranger are the best 10 minutes of any show.

One scene I remember is this: In a science lab, Chuck is fighting this "unstoppable" dude. Chuck's gettin beat up. He (roundhouse) kicks a flask of acid or something on the guy, then a lady he's trying to save shoots him with a butane torch. The guy is now on fire. So Chuck roundhouse kicks him in the chest, out a window, and the guy falls two stories onto some tanks, which explode.

That was actually a scene. The majority of it was in slow mo.
