Iran hearkens back to Khomeini days, bans Western Music.

Iran Bans Western Music


Songs such as George Michael's "Careless Whisper," Eric Clapton's "Rush" and the Eagles' "Hotel California" have regularly accompanied Iranian broadcasts, as do tunes by saxophonist Kenny G.

But the official IRAN Persian daily reported Monday that Ahmadinejad, as head of Iran's Supreme Cultural Revolutionary Council, ordered the enactment of an October ruling by the council to ban Western music.





Considering some of the tunes listed above, this might not be a bad thing. :lol:

But seriously, what does this prove? Why...that rock and roll can change the world, duh, and the people in power in the places that need it - know it!

yeah but that's when we turn on the Trippy tunes and start dropping THOUSANDS of glow sticks out of planes with little parachutes on them that have pictures of people of all creeds and colors hugging each other...

WTF are you talking about? Intelligence is (as was stated above) just the recognition and processing of patterns. Ones level of intelligence only depends on their pattern processing abilities and NOT on what is being processed or how.

Intelligence is NOT a measure of whether ones view of the world is "correct", or of how much it "corresponds to actuality". Therefore beliefs don't affect a persons level of intelligence. All beliefs do is set up a framework for thought patterns to be processed within.
