What percentage

Of Shroomery discussion is mental masturbation IYO. Post your percentage.

Of the part that is not mental masturbation, why isn't it and what makes it valuable?

Only as part of life. In and of itself it's good. If its the only expression of life then one might consider it an addiction.

something like going through the motions as a distraction rather than trying to accomplish philosophical, spiritual, and psychological health, would be my definition in this case.

One person's mental masturbation is another person's important discussion.

Although just because we feel this way I don't think we really can know what is important or meaningful to others to pinpoint a percentage.

It's just that Veritas and I were agreeing that there is not much in the way of people sharing there personal struggles with growth and how much we miss that and value that.

So this post is not a right wrong judgment, although it could be easily taken that way. I just wanted to see if people thought about it and what their views are.
