Whoah, Interrogated at work tonight

So they had a bunch of hard-core security guys at the UPS place I work tonight. Apparently on friday, a package went missing containing 2 rings going to a Milwaukee Bucks player. These rings were valued at 55,000$. Thats alot of fucking money...

Apparently, someone had scanned it here in Milwaukee, which we do so you can track your packages online, or whatever. So it was scanned here, but it never got to where it was going.

So this huge black dude calls me upstairs and is asking me all these questions. He's like, "I see you down there talking to everyone, tell us what you know and we'll see what we can do. Theres 5,000$ in it for you if you can tell us who did it". I'm like, "Shit! I wish I knew who did it, because I can use 5K" But we dont know whats up. The person who scanned it apparently is their main suspect, but she's a hardcore holier-than-thou Jesus-Freak, so I dont think it was her.

But who knows. 55,000 is some big fucking rings, at any rate.

Yeah, thats why UPS is so pissed about it. 'cause we insured it, it was marked "High Value" which we do with expensive shit so we're careful with it. So UPS is out 55K....Not the bucks dude....

They should change that policy, if it wasn't marked like that it would have never gotten stolen. I'll have to remember that if I ever ship anything of value through UPS.
