My goldfish live in Reverse Osmosis water, and when I do the 1/4 tank change thing, I pour the 'waste' water out on my garden. The plants love it
ok, so you're drinking goldfish water that has been in the tank and is being removed so you can dilute nitrates that might cause disease in fish? then you drink it?
mmmmmmm
you know reverse ozmosis water is for killing microbes. essentially its algae control. yes it kills bacteria in a tank, but only in the water. its also attached to plants, rocks, fish, waste, and glass. its alo in the filter after the UVc light so isnt effected by reverse ozmosis. and these bacterias produce nitrates that diatiomic alge would remove but your free-floating algae is dead. the stationary colonies of bacteria still produce nitrates and other more virulent toxis. which get absorbed less by algaes. so in conclusion dringing reverse ozmosis water is good for plants true. but is plant food good for you? thats why the algae eats it its plant food. see?

One of the most expensive Tequilas on the market. It's very fruity and robust. Quality stuff.
