Damnedest too no matter how neat my money is before I start as soon as I pull it out POOF! all of a sudden it's all wrinkely and looking like I've been chewing on it :wtf:, usually I have to go somewhere to pull out my money salad and attempt to organize it. I don't even bother to make the bills face the same way anymore, just turning it into decending demonotations is challange enough :blush:

wierd. I organize my pockets the same way. Still doesn't keep me from losing things when I'm really high, though.

One of the last times  tripped I told my friend (while I was holding a hand full of money),

"I know what this is, it is of no importance to me as of now... so...
do you guys want anything...?"

THey were  tripping to, but it ended up with us buying the stupidest shit, like cigars and sun glasses and some toy because its color is cool, stuff that MIGHT taste trippy... money down the drain, but I told 'em,

"If you ever want to use me for my money, when I'm tripping is the time"  And thats just the way I am.  I think I would hold on to big bills though... there is a limit where I know my sober self will get really pissed off at my tripping self, and I dont want my sober self top get pissed off at my tripping self, becuase we are friends and go hand in hand :nut: :tongue:

I remember I was tripping with my friend Kristi and out of nowhere, she whips out this shiny metal thing with flashy buttons.  We both just STARE at it.  Then she asked curiously, "Why do I have this?"  And I answered, "Because its obviously important to you if you have it".  She kept playing with her cell-phone the entire night.  It was the coolest cell-phone ever because it was so trippy.  :crazy2:

The last time i've had to purchace anything with money when tripping was at the last dead show i went to (gorge 9-22-03 good show, get it) anyway, it was intermission, and i had been starving all day for this trip, so my gf was hungry too. so i was like, were gettin some food. so i stood in line for what seemed to be 3 hours or so, with only 4 people ahead of me.. apparently the people operating the counter were really bad at thier jobs.. but anyway, i walk up to the counter and i pulled out my wallet all in super slow motion and i opened it up and at the time i had like, $300+ on me, all in like 50's and 20's and a lot of 1$ for some reason.. anyway, i just had to hand my wallet to my gf who wasn't trippin at the time and said "why dont take care of this one" so the total of the best damn pizza i've ever had in my life plus a hot dog (i dont know why i got one... wtf?) was like $8 or something, and my gf payed with a 50 then handed my wallet back.. then we got the change, and i dont have ANY idea why the lady handed me the change, but i took it, and i put it in my pocket with my water, and i was fine for the longest time, but then after the show i was going thru my pockets and was just all confused as to why i had so much money. then i did the audit the next day and everything checked out. really wierd though.

oh, and on the way out, it was my gf and i, and we see my brother just standing off to the side somewhere (he's natrualy spaced out so when he tripps, it tends to amplify things) and we walk over and he's all digging in his jacket pockets all slow and he's just like "dude, pocket's are just............ wierd" finding him was a real blessing, cause he never would have found his way back, even if he wasn't trippin.

I almost always wear BDU pants when I go out and put money in the lower right pocket, blinky things/toys in upper right, phone numbers/notes/flyers in lower left, cellphone in upper left. I still get confused (HOW DID I GET SO MANY POCKETS?!?! goes through my head no matter how many times I trip with BDUs on) but it at least keeps me from knocking my money onto the dance floor while looking for my blinky things.

Shut up, I'm not a candy raver!!!!!!!


But yeah on the pockets thing. It's almost as bad as the Mirror Trap.

I was tripping with a group of friends of mine, for several members it was their first time.  As he was peaking, one of my buddies (first-timer) starts going through his pockets and he pulled out his money.  Must have been 40 bucks, but he just stared at it for minute or two, then proclaimed in a mighty voice "What is this crap!?  I don't need this at all....here ____, you can have it, take it all"!!  He forked over the money to another friend who gladly accepted, but was equally confused by the situation.  "Are you sure man?  You're probably gonna want this later" too which my pal replied "I'm sure, take it.  That stuff is useless".

Needless to say, when he sobered up he wanted his money back.....along with all his other "pocketables" :lol:.

Thats pretty funny, he shouldnt carry to much money on him when he trips. At least he gave it to friends  :grin:

Thats such a great idea dude, cause I always have the pocket problem. Everytime I pull out a lighter to light up it's a task to find it....I definatly am gonna start pre-organizing my pockets.

This summer I devised a system for festivals which has worked well for me, despite wearing shorts often with shallow pockets and constantly tripping.

No wallet, ID, etc. All that gets locked in the car. One key, my car key, gets safety pinned to my shorts. So does my pocket flashlight, a ground score from Bonnaroo. Both go in the right front pocket. Change goes in the right front pocket, as I don't care if it happens to get lost. As little money as I need goes into one of my back pockets. The rest gets locked in the car. In the other back pocket go drugs. The left front pocket may or may not have a schedule.

Works perfect for me, and absolutely accident proof.
