Tripping, money, and other pocket things.

Spurred by one or two others with the same experiences I was wondering how the rest of you manage your money and other things you keep in your pockets while tripping. For me, managing and sorting money to pay for things while I'm out on the town tripping (unlike a lot of people, I really enjoy public events while tripping) is almost completely beyond me. Keeping things like keys, pieces of paper that might have phone numbers on them etc..is pretty damn hard too. Everything always seems to be all crumpled and heaped into every pocket I have in a big mess. Using appropriate monetary denominations never happens, I went go see a movie last weekend and before I left I bought a pint to drink while I was tripping (20 mg's of 2C-I) and watching the movie so I paid for it w/ a $20, OK even though I had two tens. Well I forgot to get a pop (I am not spending $5 for a pop at the movie theater!) went back in and paid for the damn thing w/ a $50, in a pretty bad neighborhood too. Remembering all the stuff in them (well, except for one thing :wink:) is always wierd, everytime I reach in there when I'm trying to figure out "Hey! What the hell is all this stuff in my pocket?" is always an adventure too.  Does everyone else have these problems?

Partly because of that trouble is why I wouldn't like to go out on the town while tripping.  Getting everything I need beforehand and not having to leave the area is the best way for me.  I just put all of my money and personal stuff into my purse and keep my cell on me and I'm good for the night.

I've noticed myself paying for things with 20's when tripping. I've come to realise one day on acid, why I do that. Its cause sometimes I like to stare at strangers when tripping, I can almost see into their soul. Especially eyes.  :loveeyes: Looking at strangers while tripping rocks. I watch them count and be like, wow, thats way faster then I could've figured it out  :nut: And then, yeah, the pocket mass comes when I go home for the nite. Tends to be all kinds of singles, receipts, phone numbers, candy wrappers, all kinds of stuff. Then the trip memories start kicking in from the random things collected throughout the night  :lol:

i burned a 100$ bill when i was on a shit load of acid one time.... it just felt like the right thing to do at the time :crazy: :sun:

lol yeah....when im tripping i just dont give a fuck about anything really...esp LSD. So i have to be sure not to let myself have to much money lol.

but yeah i love going out in public when tripping.

once I was at a rave, high off my ass, walking around and observing people's behavior, like the closet social psychologist that I am. 

well, I came upon this couple arguing.  She was obviously three sheets to the wind, dancing even as she argued with her boyfriend.  He was like:

"Bitch, where's the money?"

and she was like:

"It wasn't real, so I threw it away..."

later that night, my friend found like $200 on the ground.  I wonder if there was any connection.  There was a lot of liquid going around at that party!

If I'm out and about and I'm fairly far gone on any drug (Alcohol, shrooms, etc.). I just follow the same rules I use for hiking and skiing. If you don't absolutely need it, don't carry it.

I learned my lesson the hard way when I left a laptop and cell phone in a bar after a post meeting booze fest.

keep the same things on you at all times, papers/money go in wallet, smokes in left pocket with lighter, keys and visine in right pocket, along with loose change..just be organized, if you do it enough it'll become a habit and you won't even think about it..or if you're not movin, sit everything on your lap, jus don't forget it when you go to stand up =P

I have a system for my pockets too. When I'm trippin I feel things in there when there is nothing. I'll reach in and feel like it's wet inside or there are bugs crawling around in there. Cargo pants for trippin is the way to go. I just forget where I put stuff and have to search them all.

i put everything in my shoes
my cell phone and wallet usualy
noy just when tripping, everyy day
and if i happen to be tripping with shoes on i put it in my backpack

seriouslt though everyone should try my stuff in shoe techniqye
it works great :grin:

once when i was tripping i reached in the box of soda to get one but it felt like box of ice
even though the soda was warm
it was sooooooo cold :grin:
i started giggiling then laughing histaricly sitting on my ass with one hand in a box :smile:
