Ensuring the right growing conditions

I live in a fairly cold house, its old and poorly insulated. I think I'll be having a 2 terarium setup somewhere and will be growing with casing. It seems to be cold no mater where I go in the house so I waas wondering if surrounding my terrarium with a plastic curtain and sticking in a nice electric heater will help. Anyone ever souround thier terrarium with a plastic curtain to keep heat higher?

Never done a plastic curtain.
Ceramic heater in a closet I'm doing now

yeah a better isdea is to dedicate a closet to your project then you can heat that. if its small enough you can get an incubator at 85 degrees in there and try to regulate the surrounding heat to 75 fairly easily and all you will need is a fish tank heater to heat your incubation chamber. or you could use a space heater like i do and heat up the whole room to 75. theyre cheap too; like 20 bux.

My friends bad habit uses a electric blanket but because his habit is a cheap MF he only has one and it's hard to keep everything the proper temp all the time because the temp flucuates so much. Other than it getting too high sometimes it's ok and fairly inconspicouse.
