I'm gonna buy a car

I'm thinking about going to some police auction.
I heard that sometimes the people don't give the title, and you have to go through a bunch of shit to get one :confused:?

I don't know, what do you all think? Anyone ever do this?

A friend of mine bought an Audi (which appeared to be in nice shape) for  1k at a police auction, and it died 100 miles later in San Fran on top of a hill.  Electrical fire or something, the entire engine caught on fire and it smelled for a mile.  Not fun  :thumbdown:

I feel bad about buying a car from a police auction. I can only imagine what kind of shit the person that previously owned it went through.

I know what it's like to have almost all of your belongings auctioned off for only about a quarter of the price. Almost though.

first question for any used car sale "do you have a clear title", before you hand
over any cash, make sure you see the title and compare the name on it to the name
on the photo ID they provide, only time I dont recieve a title is if the car is to
old to require one.

police auctions, they have some good deals but you have to do a lot of leg work to find them

If you buy one from a police auction check everything in the car for drugs. Strip the whole body. Sometimes they miss pounds upon pounds of drugs before selling it and the buyer gets fucked down the line. Don't get fucked, just take the drugs and smoke them!

'95 crown victoria


Yes I still haev my jetta but I wanted this one aswell. It is fun to drive bu not so fun to put gas in. I also had no problems getting the title.

Honestly no I don't want to pay the "man." But think about it, it's not paying the man, it's paying for someones fuck up. They have no choice but to sell it, and have that money that was recieved from selling goes towards any kind of debts they're in (now i'm talking about people that have been sued for not making payements on somthing they should have, and have no other choices like filing bankrupt)

So really, it cancels everything out. The person fucked up, the person has no choice, i'm looking for a car, the money goes towards their debt.

So, yes I would pay the "man" :smirk:




and moonshoe, cars aren't so gay when you're lazy :grin:
