I voted for me

So I voted this past Tuesday. There was one office (I forget the name of the position) in which the only candidate running was a Republican. So naturally I type in my own name rather than vote for this guy.

Anyway, tonight I got to thinking about where I placed in this race. Did I tie for second?? Then I thought of a good plot for a marginally successful comedy film. The main character (played by me or possibly Chris Rock) votes for himself in a one man race. The man who wins the race dies just hours into his term. My character turns out to be the only other person voted for in the race. He is then appointed to this office. At this point the movie writes itself. What do you think of this idea and which film studio should I pitch this to???

I would watch that movie, especially with Chris Rock as you (no offense, but dude is freakin' funny :smile: ). There should be several car chases, one involving golf carts. And your onscreen love interest should be salma hayek. :smile:
But, now your name is on the GOP's shit list, as they thought they were running uncontested. Curses, foiled again!

its not uncommon for sitting officials to run uncontested in an election year, they rarely have any opposition if they are running for re-election.

im sure more than a few people wrote in jesus or elvis, what if they won? now that would be a movie.

That's some sci-fi type flick. It's important that I'm played by Chris Rock and I don't believe Mr. Rock would be suited for a sci-fi flick.

Interesting. This is probably off topic because I didnt bother reading the thread. I just know that today as I was defecating reading my copy of "Uncle John's Great Big Bathroom Reader", I saw that same quote (which you have a picture of Bill Maher under). It was on the "Leno-isms" page and had a bunch of quotes from Jay Leno including the one you have a picture of Bill Maher attached to. So I was just wondering... who fucked up? :grin:
