    #4791676 -

It's been so long since I've been there. I'm going to be there the end of this month!!

I just wanted to share that.

Damn, I thought this was a Zeppelin lyrics thread...

After one comes, through contact with it's administrators, no longer to cherish greatly the law as a remedy in abuses, then the bottle becomes a sovereign means of direct action.  If you cannot throw it at least you can always drink out of it.  - Ernest Hemingway

If it is life that you feel you are missing I can tell you where to find it.  In the law courts, in business, in government.  There is nothing occurring in the streets. Nothing but a dumbshow composed of the helpless and the impotent.    -Cormac MacCarthy

I'm going to Conoga Park, Burbank, LA, Hollywood, just to name a few places.

I'm going to be in Indiana on the 17th and 18th of this month.
For business reasons.
CA is all fun though.

It's fun to live here too. The problem is that the poverty line here is the lower end of what middle class is in many other states. You have to work your fucking ass off to stay financially solvent.

Lots to do around here though, but you need a car... our mass transit is all pretty much exclusively inner-city. Outside the urban centers train stops are few and far between. Buses are an option, but it's a pain in the ass to hop between 3 or 4  buses to get where you want to go.

Something many people dont do when they visit here is spend time in the Los Angeles Experimental Forest. It's a great place to go hiking or camping. The hills north of Glendora all have lots of stuff to do.

My personal recommendation is the long drive up to Table Mountain. It's cold up there, and sometimes you need a 4X4 to get there, but the view is astonishing. They have an observatory up there too, depending on what they're doing the scientists will sometimes let people in so they can see what the telescope sees.

I find your lack of faith disturbing
