 Casing not colonizing

I have pure worm castings spawned with Matias Romero (PF strain). I cased them with the 50/50+ tek:
15 cups vermiculite
15 cups peat moss
4 1/2 cups crushed oyster shell
2.4 cups of hydrated lime
1 cup short of a gallon of bottled water
It's been a few days, and the mycelium is not moving into the casing AT ALL. It's just staying in the worm castings. Is the above mixture right? 2.4 CUPS of hydrated lime, it burned my hands. I have since read some articles where people speak in tablespoons, yet the above is written right here at the shroomery.

God dammit, I hate being screwed up on my first casing by a typo. Not just a typo, but one that is here AND at the hawk's eye. Someone give me the REAL 50/50+ casing mix?
If I go get rid of the casing and recase with the right stuff, should I be ok?
Alternately, I was thinking of getting rid of the casing, and expanding the worm castings x2. There is only about 1" of compressed worm castings in the bottom of each rubbermaid bin, would I be ok to mix in another 1" worth of pasturized worm castings? Let that run through, then recase?

Yeah, recase without the lime, you should be OK.

I'd like to use the 50/50+ tek, rather than the 50/50. I just need the PROPER mixture. The amount of oyster shell seemed excessive too.
If I decide to expand my growth, should I put some casings in the bottom too? I'm thinking a layer of 1" 50/50+, 2-3" of worm castings with mycelium, 1" of 50/50+ up top.
Maybe throw some wet vermiculite in with the castings?

Shouldn't need more than 1 or 2 tablespoons per meatloaf tin sized casing.

So was the author ON shrooms when this was written down?
How about oyster shells? How much of that should I add? I am using sphargum (or whatever) peat moss. This ok?

WTF?! That is the recipie on Hawks page! That sucks. I have been wondering why I am not seeing anything. I have a 1" top casing layer and I'm not seeing jack. SHIT! That is really frustrating. Is that right? Why the fuck does he not change it?

wow im sooo lucky i just did that casing method today,but couldnt find the lime so did it without it.
how come they have not changed the recipe??that sucks
