makin a beer pong table

need to get a cord to connect my digital camera so i can get some pics but anyways i want to put the jager logo on it so how would i go about blowing up an image like that??? can i print it on a bunch of different peices of paper from my printer or do i have to go to kinkos and can they even do it?

Get a projector and paint it on. Or if you're a good artist do it by eye/graphs.

i suck at drawing shit that big.... how much are projectors? my professors have those do you think theyd let me borrow one?

They can be fairly pricey - ask your professor or look into a rental maybe. I'm lucky enough to have one here at work but I like doing things by eye mostly.

It'll look a lot better if it's done on a single piece of paper (e.g. go to Kinko's or a printing place).  Be aware however that it will likely get spilled on, burnt with cigs, etc. etc.

Perhaps you could put on several coats of a clear laquor? (sp?).  In any event, take your time and plan this out.  On our beer pong table we did a two inch border along the outside in blacklight sensitive paint so it would glow under black lights.  Then we added a second table which was the converse: the whole thing was flourscent under black lights and there was a two inch border in pitch black. 

We also used a pool table triangle to make outlines at each end where you would set your cups.  Google it and you'll get a lot of ideas.  My point is that if you take a moment to sit and design a really neat beer pong table it will last a very long time.  Patience dammmit this isn't a project that needs to e done by this weekend so you can play on it.  :hairmetal:

this is what im doing...

im painting this first with a coat of seelant so the wood doesnt get ruined... then paint it completely green with the jager logo and everything... then im gonna outline it with beer caps... and this is on a bunch of cinderblock to hold it up...

Kinkos charges an arm and a leg for stuff like that. Rastorbate it, use a burn tool or rolling poker to trace out the pattern, stencil it, and fill it in. Works really great.

really? I tried rasterbating an image before and it looked like crap unless you were like 10 ft. across the room. If the lable is intricate people may just be like: "Wtf is in the middle of the table?"

if you know illustrator, trace the image (can be a small jpeg file) fill the objects/paths ect... you can blow it up ect seeing as its vector based, or you can get someone to do it for you.

PS: AliceDee, if you really want this done, PM me with the measurements you need, and when you need it by, and I'll try to do it for you.
