Preparing to Case

Hey guys,
I've run a couple rounds of cakes, and I've had some pretty decent success, so I'm thinking for my next round of cakes, I'll use a few for a casing. Can anyone suggest a good technique? I don't have a pressure cooker, so preferably a tek that doesn't use one. Thanks guys>

I dont see what a PC has to do with casing but Hawks 50/50 casing tek is pretty easy and very good. It is also in the Grow/Find section.
My "bust" I just thought of why a PC would come in handy but the 50/50 tek doesnt require it.

thanks billyblastoff and mystic1. I appreciate the advice. I'm going to need some other kind of grow chamber for the casing right? because my initial chamber I will still be using with a humidifier and cakes (which will be too high humidity for the casing). Can I just use a regular chamber without adding humidity and just misting the casing, or do I need to put the whole casing on perlite or something? thanks again guys.

You are correct in using an additional grow chamber for your casings. I wouldnt mist the casings themselves unless it was starting to look very dry or between flushes. Casings are supposed to provide the necessary moisture for fruiting but I would lightly mist the sides of the chamber anyway. You have the right ideas, your on the right track.

Billyblastoff you're the man,
do you recommend any specific strain to case? I have PF cakes that have fruited once, as well as some that will just be ready to birth. Which do you think will work better? Any other tips you can give me. I'm hoping this casing will work a bit better and fruit a bit more than the cakes alone. Later man.
