Windows XP annoyance w/ thumbdrives
    #4863237 -

Just wanted to let off some random complaint I have about Windows.

Everyone's got jump-drives nowadays, so you'd think the software support behind them would be tip-top...and for the most part, functionally, it is, but there are a lot of annoyances as well.

One of them is the fact that when I plug in my Jump Drive, Windows displays one of those little yellow message saying "Found New Hardware: Memory Stick"...I click it...then another "Found New Hardware: PNY JumpDrive"...OK I click it...then another "Found Flash Memory Drive"...WTF...OK I click it...then another..."Your Hardware has been installed and is ready to use"

Thank you so much for your persistence, but is it really necessary to be that fucking annoying?  :smirk: TGIF.
