Windows Vista Transformation Tool
    #6194905 - 10/21/06 05:28 PM (17 years, 5 months ago)

I highly recommend this software.  It makes your Windows XP look and run just like Vista is supposed to.  From startup screen, all the way down to the windowed preview of buttons on the taskbar, this shit just gave my OS a sick new look.  Your best bet is demonoid or any other torrent site...

For some reason the taskbar won't show up in any screenshots I take, but take my word for it it's sick.  You can even customize the clock.  I don't even see the need for the real Vista .

Eh, things got a little mucky with it so I uninstalled everything but the icons and the startup/shutdown.

It worked awesome for me, it just lagged a little and I'm not cool with lag, so I just kept what looked cool without the lag

If I was going to mod my Windows Shell, I'd use Litestep. Check it out.

Be careful, you can mess stuff up if you don't do it correctly. I think now they have installers so it's less risky. Just make sure to back your shit up if something happens to go wrong.

That's how the Vista one was too. Upon a google search I found a site with an installer. I'll see how automated it is...
