Slugs are eating a great deal of my personal mushroom patch, does anyone know any cures? I don't have any money for slug repelent.

get a sheet of copper and place it around the entire border of the patch. make it sit upright so it acts like a fence

hey i didnt know that one, sounds very handy :smile:

something thats popular that u could do aditionaly is make a
beer trap.
bury a jar to the rim and poor some beer in it.
the snails will fall in and drown.

the copper trick works very well....

also, you can pick up some diatomaceous earth....and spread it around the perimeter of the patch.....to the slugs its like putting up a razor wire fence....the diatomaceous slicing into their soft skin if they try and go over it..
